CEO - Chief Executive Officer

Prior to joining LayerOne, Christian was CEO of Pharos Advisors AS, advising and investing in growth stage companies. Before this, he was director in the corporate finance team of SEB Enskilda with responsibility for equity private placements, IPOs and M&A transactions in the renewable energy space. Christian has headed up Elkem Solar AS from initiation to commercialization, served as SVP for Solar Business Development in Orkla ASA and worked with BCG in Germany on restructuring the capital goods industry. He started his career in product supply and engineering with Procter&Gamble in Brussels.

Christian holds a master of science degree in Chemical Engineering from Universität Karlsruhe KIT in Germany.

Chief Commercial Officer

With a strong track record in innovation, product and change management, Morten is a seasoned professional in the chemical industry. Before his role as Chief Commercial Officer at LayerOne, Morten was CEO at Bioenvision, where he championed the commercialization of cutting-edge POSS solutions in the fields of Flame Retardance and Hydrophobation. He has held key positions at Jotun, driving the technical development of Hull Performance Solutions (HPS) and leading global profitability and product innovations.

Morten holds a doctor’s degree in Science and has studied business administration. His career is marked by a pursuit for innovation, and a belief in the transformative power of science and technology in creating sustainable industry solutions.

Chief Marketing Officer

Annette brings a wealth of experience in marketing, branding, communications, and design, honed through years of dedicated work within industrial sectors. She has a bachelor’s in communication sciences from Italy, where she also managed marketing and communications for an EPC company operating within energy, oil & gas and shipping. She has also worked ten years with marketing and communications for a major engine manufacturer.

Chief Financial Officer

Christer started as CFO for LayerOne in May 2022. Christer has previous experience from Bergen Engines, where he worked as Head of Controlling, and Deloitte auditing various industries. In addition, he has worked as CFO in a tech startup, and has served as board member for several entities.

General Counsel

Stian is the new General Counsel of Layerone. Before joining the company, he spent nearly eight years as inhouse legal counsel with an international oil and gas service provider. He also holds extensive experience from different tier one law firms in Norway. Stian graduated with a master’s in law from the University of Bergen.

Chief People Officer

Irene joined LayerOne in April 2022 as interim CPO. Irene has 25-year HR leader experience from different branches. She has a Master from BI, Oslo in Value Creation & Strategy.
